St Michael’s New Malton, is often affectionately known as ‘The Church in the Market Place’ of this historic North Yorkshire market town.
The parish of St Michael New Malton is part of the Diocese of York, which is in turn part of the Church of England and the world-wide Anglican Communion. We worship the one true God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, revealed in the Bible, and we profess the one true faith expressed in the catholic creeds.
The Christian faith was brought to this area in the eighth century AD. There has been a Christian presence here ever since.
St Michael’s is easily found in the Market Place in the centre of Malton.
